Having An Ascension Into Mindset Development

By Katrina Wheeler

A pupil on his fourth grade failed to get a high score on his science examination. The following day, he took a removal exam but still he did not make it. Now there is a need for an ascension into mindset development for his schoolmates and teacher because they have this surreal thinking. They already kept their thoughts fixed that the child would never get a high grade until he will reach college.

As some neurotic books contained, mindset is a cognitive state that can detect some ones belief, stereotypes, principles and feed backs on every bad situations he is and have to face. A detestation upon eating a hamburger while seeing a glass of earthworms and the idea that you are eating them on a burger sandwich is the work of it. Ignoring those idea will keep you on enjoying the food you are eating.

There are only two existing kinds of mindset namely, growth and fixed. Accepting the idea that talents and skills as in born and can never be change is a fixed. People who are close minded posses this thinking for they only trust their selves and never give their ears to anyone.

A person with growth mindset believes that talents and skills are both in born and can be gained. In fact, skills and talents are elastic and malleable. People who are open minded posses this type because if someone gives them a new idea or if someone corrects them, they do not complain. Instead, they absorb it or sometimes fuse it with their original thought.

There are paths to be passed in order to improve your thoughts and learning is part of it. There is no man who already knew how bitter some medicines are, how sweet the sugar is and how the dog barks by not studying on them. What I mean by studying here is experiencing. A student who always go to school, keep himself punctual, and always burning his eye brows just to get a high grade and be an honor one is fixed. A growth one must always think that as long as he is learning new subject matters and does not worry about any achievements he is doing great.

Acknowledging diligence, putting oneself on a hard work is the key. You will never gain new skills if you do not even put little bit of efforts on it. Just keep this into your mind that the more diligent you are on studying something, the more patient you are on keeping an attention to an idea, the better you will be at it.

Avoid subjective acceptance of feed backs from people that surrounds you. Feed backs are there to let you know your mistakes and what you ought to redo. A person who does not want to learn will always hide his mistake and will always get discouraged when corrected.

Allocating some of the learning you gained from others is also part of the process. Once you share something you are also allocating space for new learning to come. In this way your brain can easily adopt.

Improving oneself for the sake of others and for himself is a double virtue for a person full of questions. Just be careful on things that you want to know because you might end up knowing what is prohibited for you to know. And never dare to have a shortcut in ascension into mindset development because there is no shortcut for acquisition.
