I entered today's high-tech webmarketing world from a tradition of hammer-and-chisel problem solvers where I cut my teeth implementing tedious, painstaking models aimed at uncovering the root causes of such things as turnover, poor morale, poor quality production and overall low productivity where the cost of business far exceeded profits. Trust me, back in the day, doing this kind of work was like pulling teeth (without anesthesia!) to get qualified, experienced experts to admit that their problems may be more system-rooted rather than the result of any personal deficiency.
Regardless of how hard I tried to allay people's fears and concerns, people generally took my communications, analysis and recommendations personally. Many became defensive, even outright hostile. In one situation, a high income owner- partner left the firm without notice! Who would have thought?
Fast forwarding to today, things appear to be so different now. High powered, light weight, hand-held computers, iPads and the like form the very fabric of our business and home life. Our world is now wrapped in a very complex web of globalized technology which has rendered the world as flat according to a leading industry expert. The internet is no longer a bad word. Virtually everyone everywhere in the world has a computer. With all these advances, however, the problems of poor productivity and outright failure in capturing new markets and building successful web-based businesses continue to dominate the mlm industry landscape. What's up with that?
Despite all these developments, we continue to encounter the very same inefficiencies and problems as before. Experts report that online marketers experience as high as 97% failure at achieving their personal and business goals. MLM and network marketers just can't seem to walk the talk. Virtually everywhere, on average, only poor results, mostly failure is the result. I'm not making this up. It's crazy. Like LasVegas! Reminds me of Albert Einstein's now popular definition of insanity: "Doing the same things over and over again, expecting different results."
Are we webmarketers really such gluttons for punishment? I think NOT! I do believe, however, that many committed, motivated online marketers are being taught outdated concepts and practices. What might have worked in the past in local and regional markets are, today, highly inadequate and ineffective at achieving results. Having one foot planted firmly in the past with the other pointed timidly toward the future is not a business building strategy that will produce long-term results, no matter what product or service one is passionate about. Such an approach only guarantees more of the same - failure!
Face it, cold-calling, no-show home and hotel meetings, flashy cars and lively personalities armed with worn out motivational pitches and cliches just won't cut it anymore. MLM and network marketers are fed up with all this wasteful market seduction. Not to mention, the time and up-front cost! It's time to move on!
It's time now to move steadily and confidently into the future using webmarketing strategies proven to uncover hidden opportunities and staggering results heretofore never before experienced . . . except by the rare few! The time has come to swim away from the side of the pool and head out to the deep waters where vast opportunities silently await you.
