A Commercial Debt Collector For Every Small Business

By Lyndsey Kaplan

It seems like I have been teaching swimming lessons forever. As a 14 year old eager to work, I was able to score a job at the local swim school teaching lessons. Those years of competitive swimming finally paid off-literally. As soon as I was old enough I made sure I got certified in Lifeguarding and Water Safety Instruction so I could potentially increase my earning potential. After I graduated and started working, I realized that I wanted to go back to what I truly loved-teaching. I was able to start my own pool teaching lessons. After its opening though I realized I also needed to find a commercial debt collector to work with.

Advertising is an important aspect of any successful business. I found that Facebook was one of the most effective methods. With everyone these days on the Internet between their computers, tablets, and smart phones, I figured Facebook presence would be a vital asset. It allows my customers to not only check-in to my business, but also check out deals and specials we hold throughout the year. Deals ranged from a discount on a swim package, to birthday party deals, to free lessons.

Swim instructing and lifeguarding was my first job and remained the one that I maintained throughout my high school and college career. Not only did I make good money, but it was rewarding and generally pretty easy. It was no surprise that after I graduated college I decided to go into business-specifically the swimming business. One of the issues I've run into owning my own business though is that sometimes clients don't pay. In situations like these, when all else fails we decided to work with a commercial debt collector.

What was most exciting about opening my own swim school is that I could finally train people in the way I like to teach. As a private swim instructor as well as a group one through the American Red Cross program, I have taught in many different fashions. I love being able to teach my teaching methods onto others. Like any other business though, we must work with a whole host of clients from an accountant to a commercial debt collector. For more information click here.

Swimming is a vital skill to have. It is especially important in a place like Long Island, we are surrounded by water. Between the pool and the beach, it's pretty hard to avoid water. Being a provider of swimming lessons has given me such satisfaction with my life choices.
