Incidents Involving Salvation Through Faith

By Steven Stewart

Everywhere in the world and all races, people have beliefs. They believe in a supreme being and a power greater than themselves. They may be cults or religions, but the majority of the people around them seems to have faith in them. They include Christians and Muslims whose religion is the most dominant. Some people do not believe in anything or anyone being more superior than them. They are known as atheists or pagans. However below is all about Christians and how they have trust in Salvation Through Faith.

The bible has quite some verses that talk about salvation, grace, and trust. The first is Ephesians 2:8-9. It primarily speaks about Christians being saved by their faith. This means that the grace of God will always be upon you and protect you from all evil as long as you have complete and strong faith in him. This means that without trust, a relationship with God will not be strong compared to when you do have trust.

The Bible talks about Adam and Eve being the very first of the human race. They were placed in the garden of Eden. The only rule was not to eat from the tree in the middle of the garden. They were warned of the consequences, but they chose to ignore it.

The bible compares the relationship between God and human beings with the relationship between a shepherd and his sheep. When you go to a farm and observe how sheep behave around the shepherd, you would understand. They completely trust their shepherd and always go in the direction he chooses for them.

If you observe a flock of sheep, they always follow their shepherds direction undoubtedly. Those who choose to go another way are attacked and even killed by other animals. This is the same case when it comes to the relationship between God and his people. They should believe in God and be kept safe from all harm. If they indulge in sin, they will be automatically be crossed out of the book of life unless they repent.

The ten commandments are another factor that strengthens Christians faith in God. These came about in the old testament through Moses who was the servant of God. The people were to follow these laws that were written if they wanted to be saved from their enemies and other dangers. The fact that they followed these commandments shows they believed that God would save them. God delivered his promise by getting them safely to the land that he had promised them.

Eating from the tree of knowledge was a sign of lack of trust. It angered God so much that he threw Adam and Eve out of the garden of Eden. He also put punishment on them which people still suffer to this day. If they had faith like Abraham who was ready to sacrifice his son, they would have enjoyed simple lives, and they would have received blessings just the way Abraham did.

According to Hebrews 11:6 it is impossible to please God without any faith. This means that no matter how good you are and how well you follow the laws of God, you can never be saved as long as you do not have faith in him.
