There's actually no such thing as certainty. It's all truly uncertain.
Truth be told, uncertainty is very beautiful however. When you live in a world brim-full of uncertainty, you give yourself the great opportunity to live in full probability and be truly happy. Those two things come side by side. When you begin to try and separate yourself from uncertainty by limiting what your future is going to appear like, that's when you can really begin to get into a little bit of trouble. As thrilling as that's to do, you become out of touch with reality and distance yourself from people who are right here now. There's nothing worse than living in a spot that you can not actually go to, and therefore, missing all that is happening at the moment.
That's 100% my story.
Living in the future and neglecting the present.
Not that this was a bad thing all of the time, though it was misaligned with the deep underlying sense of needing connection with others. I knew that I needed that connection, so I had to start making some changes. I think the balance of where hopes and objectives lie with a person who has great ambitions is they must ...and should... appreciate what they have now, be the person who they see in the future now, and learn that the future is only going to be an illustration of deep point of what is happening in their life right this second.
My problem was that I looked at the future as a place where it might all turn out and everything would be fine. Wrong. You have got to be O.K with what is occurring today. When you can really live in the moment and let the uncertainty of the future handle itself, happiness creeps in.
Learn to tap into this moment and appreciate it for what it is. That really is all we can do right?
Uncertainty is the name of the game.
