Media has identified itself as one of the most powerful tools there has ever been. It was created for the sole purpose of informing the people of significant information. But over the years, there are already several aspects of this platform which can be manipulated. It can be a tool which can be used to ignite a war. And it can also be one instrument to promote peace.

There are also another group of people who have seen the another good thing that media has. Businessmen see it as a very good marketing strategy because it has a good reputation and a lot of people listen or watch it everyday. The terms media buying pertains to the air time allotted for commercials in a broadcast. It can be in television or in the radio. If you are going to organize a campaign, it would take a lot of funds. And if you are planning to use this as your advertising tool, there will be a need for you to pay more. So before you decide on taking this course, you should also consider if you have enough budget.

Then you can start media buying. Once you have determined the preferred platform of your target market, you can contact some of the people from that platform and strike a deal with them. If you already released the campaign, you should do some evaluation and monitoring to see if the campaign worked.
