Does An Intuitive Healer Have A Role To Play In Modern Day Medicine?

By Marci Nielsen

Intuitive healing is a form of therapy that has been with us for centuries. It is a technique that employs all our five senses in detecting illnesses and treating them. This is based on the assumption that well-being is linked to the flow of a special form of energy inside our bodies. An imbalance in this energy results in illness. We will examine the role that an intuitive healer plays in the practice of medicine today.

In this treatment, there is a belief that the body comprises seven energy sites (chakras). Each site controls a specific body system. Additionally, the chakras are linked to emotions and the two interact through a negative feedback mechanism. We fall sick when the negative emotions dominate and get better in the presence of positive emotions. The healer is focused on enhancing the positive emotions and suppressing the negative ones.

The main components that are required for intuition healing are focused thinking and visualization. For this to be achieved, one has to either engage in remote viewing or meditation. These activities help to redirect energy back to the right path so as to restore the balance in the body. Remote viewing is the act of focusing on specific events, people or items in the past, present or future so as to evoke certain emotions.

During meditation, one gets an insight on their state of health. This is the reason why the healers recommend that one engages in the exercise regularly. In practical terms, meditations is known to have certain medical benefits that include reduction in blood pressure, control of symptoms associated with heart disease and reduction of stress. As far as this therapy is concerned, the treatment helps enhance intuition.

Dreams are another way our bodies communicate to us. It is a window through which we view our lives and get answers on the many questions that we may have regarding different aspects of our lives such as health, careers and relationships. It is important that one keeps tracks of all their dreams by recording them in a journal so as to establish a certain pattern.

The healer has a unique ability to perceive the patterns of energy within the different chakras. This is made possible by use of the sixth sense or intuition. While this skill is present in each of us, it is more enhanced among the healers who have honed it over many years. Once they detect an imbalance, they communicate to the client and prescribe a set of exercises aimed at correcting the abnormality.

The therapy is purported to be effective regardless of the distance between the healer and the client. The client and the practitioner connect telepathically and the latter can sense the amount of energy around their client. All that is required of the client is to be still and to listen to the small voice in the depths of their conscience. This voice is what tells us the truth about things including what is wrong or right about our health.

There is need to be aware of the body so as to notice the symptoms of disease at the earliest stage. At the same time, the client needs to have the ability to sense their body energy. This will make it possible for them to be aware of reduced energy levels in various chakras. It is important to point out that intuitive healing is not an alternative to conventional treatment modalities. The therapy should only be used as a complement to your regular treatments.
