Once upon a time there was a kid who hated his mother. So great was the hatred felt toward his mother. Not because his mother a bad person and did not pay attention to them. But simply because the mother's eyes next to the handicapped. When the child's elementary school often teased her friends called the son of the blind.
Never one time the mother called and smiled at him when he was hanging out with friends. Not a smile which in getting the mother of the child but a cursing the child. The boy said in front of his mother that he had hated the blind mother, she wanted her mother to die.
Year and month to change the child has had his own family, during which he no longer had met her mother, because since high school he was not going to live with her mother. One time his mother visited the house of his son, who he knew from his neighbors. When the mother was in the front door lets the child is not signed but instead drove to the diatribe and invective. The mother was silent and left the site with a sad face.
One time his mother fell ill and eventually died. The neighbors to preach on the child. The children do not feel sad at all with her mother, until a neighbor gave a letter from the mother to her child.
In his letter, her mother just say sorry if all this made him ashamed. Her mother also told him why his next disability. When the age of three years of the child fell while playing, causing blindness side of the eye. Not wanting the child blind in one eye then the mother gives her for her beloved child. He does not care to lose one eye so long as the baby can go through life normally.
At the end of the letter his mother said that she loved her children and wanted to hug her son close as he had hugged her son tightly that was lying low when it fell. The child's throat choked when I read, no power flowing water beads from the corners of her eyes, chest chock full of emotion and feeling very guilty inside.
Brother, do not we realize that one of God's greatest gift is when we are given the parents. Perhaps many of us who are sometimes embarrassed to have parents who are no longer attractive physical appearance. We are so shy when it comes to our mother's hand while flying among our friends, we are so upset if our mother or father does not comply with our wishes. We felt it hard to repeat the words that sometimes do not sound clear by our parents because they have diminished hearing. We are so embarrassed when I have to accept the reality that our parents are not perfect, but merely a frail body, disheveled appearance and did not have something in pride.
But do not you remember my brother that they were never ashamed to be a janitor who was always struggling with the garbage just because they want to see us go to school like other children. They are never ashamed of being street vendors who sometimes had to run out of breath because of the security being chased by the city to buy our snacks as the other children. They never care about their health and continue working hard to provide for our lives. They never tired of repeating the word so that we articulate. They patiently answered our questions, although we are often asked the same question.
Is not frail their bodies because they are struggling so hard so that we can live better than them. Is not worn them because they look too busy thinking about school tuition and other needs of our lives.
Maybe our parents were not perfect parents, parents who have a variety of shortcomings. Perhaps language in expressing his love they did not fully understand. But rest assured that among the long prayer, most of the prayers for our good. Every drop of sweat merely to see us happy. Between anger and the ban is a form of manifestation of his love for us.
While my brother was not yet arrived, the time where we can only weep at his grave because regretfully we only troubled him during his lifetime and never make him happy. Time in which we can not hug the body closely fragility of the full warmth of love. Time when everything is too late.
My brother Insya Allah soon we celebrate together and at the same day that fitri moment to our knees, Come sister, come to him now with reverence as she kissed the back of his hand, came with a smile and gentle words said. Come with a softly whispered that we loved him so much. Because the world and it's not what makes them happy, but we who devote make them happy smile broke.
And for the brother who had not spoken the word sorry and thanks to our parents ... do not be sad ... we can still do something for him that is to pray….yes….with pray…..Because it was to meet Allah while She needs our prayers.

Without our ever realizing it, when things that we often underestimate. And now, time goes by very quickly. Just a little off guard the past we had a great time.
