To Those Trying To Change The World

By Evan Sanders

There's a unique challenge that faces dreamers.

Dreamers and goal seekers are very unique types of people. They go against the grain. They do what others cannot. They take the route that seems to be against what everyone else is doing and head in directions that would frighten most. They pave paths for people who cannot see a way and take massive risks in life. All of this is not easy. But the hardest part of the journey is to continue to have faith in oneself despite what everyone else says or thinks about them.

Dreamers face a decision: slow down to the pace of those people who aren't walking at their speed or to venture on and let people catch up later down the line.

Every single time a dreamer comes into the world with a grand vision for what is possible there are massive forces working against that same vision. The people in our world do not like to change and would rather follow what feels comfortable instead of living up to their maximum potential.

The one fundamental question that arises time and time again for dreamers is whether or not they should follow their gut feelings deep inside of them or fall back "into place" with the rest of society where it's comfortable and warm?

There's only one decision to be made.

They must move forward because they can. They know that if they want to truly change the world for the better that they have to get in action and try things that they have never done before. Of course doubt, insecurity, fear and worry are going to constantly pop up in their minds, but they have to continue walking through them. If they can battle through these fears, that will certainly make the change they've wished for.

Of course, as they travel down their destined path, criticism will come. But that's just part of the game.

So keep moving ahead. Keep paving paths that do not exist yet. The world will hate you now, but thank you later.
